Aesthetic Bioregulatory Homeomesotherapy
Mesotherapy (Greek 'mesos' meaning 'middle') – subcutaneous and intradermal administration of medicines using micro injection technique.
This type of skin therapy is a part of Homotoxicology which is also known as Medical Homeopathy. Therapeutic approach in Homotoxicology combines the elements of mainstream medicine, homeopathy and nutrition and therefore can be used to address any problem. It can work hand in hand with other therapies including mainstream medicine, and many of the anti-homotoxic remedies in Homotoxicology are similarly supported either by observation studies or clinical trials.
The most significant and obvious sign of the transition from youth to old age is the appearance of facial wrinkles. “Beauty” has always been associated with having young, smooth and glowing skin. However, apart from external beauty, the skin also reflects a person’s troubles, anxiety and pain - it is a mirror of the soul and every wrinkle tells the story of that person's experiences in life.
SKIN AGEING
Chronological ageing of the skin is the result of a mixture of biological, biochemical and molecular events established by the genetic code of each individual (chrono ageing). This is why not all people grow old in the same way and the skin is not the same in all individuals. Other environmental chemical and physical factors contribute to ageing, and these are of varying importance in determining its type and severity (photo ageing).
WHY MESOTHERAPY?
We all understand that to slow down the skin ageing process the good practice would be to look after your skin in the same way as you would do to your baby: feed, clean and protect from extreme environmental factors.
Well, mesotherapy is all about feeding your skin with all the nutrients it needs to look healthy and vibrant. However, unless these nutrients can be delivered to its site of action, into the inner layers of the skin, the efficiency of the feeding process is compromised. In similar way your baby will stay hungry if the food you give him goes elsewhere, but not in his mouth.
The phenomenal advances in the fields of biotechnology and molecular biology led to the development of sophisticated skin care products containing not only beneficial to skin vitamins, minerals and aminoacids but also peptides, proteins and polysaccharides. Proteins and polysaccharides are the building blocks of our skin, and the skin starts ageing when the shortage of the building materials takes place at the building site.
Evolution has provided the mammalian organism with an external covering, the principal function of which is to act as a barrier, specifically to the loss of tissue water. Just think: the concentration of water inside the human body is in the order of 50M, while that in the atmosphere is clearly very much less. Thus, there is a strong driving force for water to be lost from the body, and to prevent desiccation, an efficient barrier at the interface is therefore required. The skin’s outermost layer, the stratum corneum, provides this shield. In doing so, the skin presents a formidable resistance to the absorption of molecules which contact the external surface.
As you may see from the picture of the Skin Structure above, the epidermis is stratified, keratinising epithelium. The keratinocytes comprise the major cellular component (>90%) and are responsible for the evolution of barrier function. The stratum corneum is usefully thought of as a ‘brick wall’ with the corneocytes comprising the ‘bricks’, embedded in the ‘mortar’ created by intercellular lipids.
Thus, due to very tight ‘mortar’ junctions, the absorption of molecules from topically applied cosmetic creams, serums and lotions will be limited to very small size molecules such as vitamins, minerals, aminoacids and at most small peptides. Large molecules such as proteins (e.g. collagen) and polysaccharides (e.g. hyaluronic acid) are not able to penetrate through stratum corneum barrier. The only possible way of absorption for these molecules by passive diffusion into the skin is via hair follicles and sweat ducts that in total constitute only half percent of the skin surface area. This can not be considered efficient in terms of therapeutic macromolecules bioavailability. Therefore assisted penetration using subcutaneous and intradermal injections of therapeutic peptides, proteins and polysaccharides is an effective way of delivering crucial to ageing skin ‘building materials’ to the site of action.
The results of an observation studies into the efficacy of these medicines in the treatment of wrinkles and slackening of the face and neck tissues, carried out between 1998 and 2003 on 681 male and female patients are described below:
- Skin nourishment with enhanced bioavailability of nutrients due to intradermal delivery using mesotherapy injection technique
- Antioxidant action on the skin
- Stimulation of skin collagen synthesis
- Stimulation of microcirculation
- Drainage and recovery of skin metabolic function
- Revitalising and toning action
Results of treatment with homeopathic mesotherapy (before and after).
Homeopathic injectable medicines are mainly complex cocktails of homeopathic and the natural to the body components such as vitamins, aminoacids, Krebs cycle catalysts, proteins including collagen and glucosaminoglycans such as hyaluronic acid – all prepared homeopathically in the lowest homeopathic dilutions. When administered over a full course of eight treatments it provides visible and long lasting results.
The remedies such as MADE, homeopathic collagen, homeopathic hyaluronic acid and homeopathic hyaluronidase can be used both as a treatment for reducing the signs of aging and as a preventive treatment for maintaining a youthful face. Omeoformula® 1, 2 and 3 (Adiposity, Cellulite and Tissue Tone), as well as Aesculus Compositum, Adeps Suillus-Injeel and others are used for the treatment of cellulite and for body contouring.
Target sites of homeopathic injectable medicines components.
Homeopathic injections not only add volume and smooth out imperfections (this is a shorter term effect compared to the fillers and Botox), but mainly produce accumulative and longer lasting regenerating effect on the dermis.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO I NEED?
The course of treatment usually consists of six to eight sessions on a weekly or fortnightly basis. Homeomesotheapy treatment can be combined in one session with skin peeling and also with hyaluronic filler which is usually injected at the end of the course, when the skin is detoxified, nourished and stimulated. Maintenance treatment is recommended on a monthly basis. Cellulite treatment requires up to ten weekly sessions which can be combined with ozone therapy massage.

WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW BEFORE THE TREATMENT?
The homeopathic mesotherapy approach is not the same for everyone and the treatment course will be carefully tailored to you.
Before you are treated, you skin must be clean, and any makeup or cosmetics removed using preferably astringent or facial cleansing lotion. Use cold water to ensure that your pores are not dilated. It is strongly recommended that no anti-inflammatory and/or anticoagulation drugs such as Aspirin or Warfarin are taken at least 3 to 4 days prior to your treatment as they may increase bruising and swelling at the injection site.
The effects of homeopathic injections may include temporary mild inflammatory reaction such as redness in the injected area and temporary swelling and/or nodules or mild bruising at the injection site.
You will be asked to complete Medical History and Patient Consent forms before the first treatment and also will be given a Book of Patient Treatment Records.
Your practitioner will insert a fine short needle in the desired location. Swelling and redness will usually subside within an hour or so and you can get back to your daily routine with little down time. Topical anaesthetic cream can be used to minimise discomfort of the procedure.
Injection sites on the face.
After the treatment try to keep your face relaxed and refrain from exposure to extreme heat (sauna, bath, sunbathing) for one week after the treatment. This can cause the components of homeopathic injectable medicines to break down more rapidly. It is not advisable to touch or massage the injected area. You can begin to re-apply your makeup the day after your treatment.

Homotoxicology in Aesthetic Medicine
For over last few years Homeopathic Mesotherapy (Homeomesotherapy) has been an effective, natural, safe and economical alternative to conventional Botox and dermal fillers.
Homeomesotherapy is one of the advanced therapeutic techniques in Homotoxicology (Medical Homeopathy). Homeomesotherapy uses the series of shallow microinjections of homeopathic medicines into acupuncture points and affected skin areas on the face, neck, hands and décolleté to stimulate self-rejuvenation processes in the skin. This technique is also used for the treatment of cellulite, acne, skin hyperpigmentation (melasma), alopecia, chronic venous insufficiency (swollen ankles) as well as for localised fat reduction, stretch marks and skin slackening on the tummy, waist line, arms, double chin , ‘eye bags’, knees etc.
Homeomesotherapy used for beauty treatment is also known as Skin Prick Nutrition since it delivers all required nutrients to the site of action in the skin. Homeomesotherapy boosts the health of the skin as well as the appearance and can be used both as skin rejuvenation treatment and as preventive treatment for maintaining a youthful look.
Homeopathic medicines used for treatments act at skin cellular and extracellular matrix levels and contain naturally found in the body vitamins, minerals, aminoacids, coenzymes, proteins such as collagen, glycosaminoglycans such as hyaluronic acid, antioxidants and plant DNA which are crucial for cell protection and repair. Concentration of these molecules in homeopathic medicines corresponds to their physiological concentration in the body, which aims to stimulate self-rejuvenation process without involvement of toxins and potential oxidants. As a result of its’ specific homeopathic preparation, these medicines have no side effects or contraindications. No biocompatibility tests are therefore needed.
