Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a system of medicine which is over 2,000 years old.
Acupuncture works by using fine stainless steel needles which are inserted very lightly into the skin just behind the surface.
The needles are inserted into Acupuncture points.
The Chinese discovered that the body has twelve channels of energy flowing through it.
These are called Meridians. Along these channels lie various points which can be stimulated to encourage the energy to flow. We call this Qi energy - it can be called life energy or even the life force.
As long as the quality and flow of energy in the body is in a state of dynamic equilibrium, both internally and externally, there will be health.
Any state of disease can be seen as a disharmony in the natural flow of energy in the body and/or in the body’s interaction with the cosmos. This disharmony can be caused by many factors such as any emotional state (eg. grief, anger, fear, anxiety, etc, the weather, working or living conditions, diet, hereditary factors, infections or trauma, and will lead to the physical symptoms of disease.
The principal aim of acupuncture is to treat the whole person (physical, emotional and spiritual), to recover the body’s natural equilibrium and improve the overall well being of the patient.

BodyTalk healthcare system
BodyTalk incorporates advaitic philosophy, clinical findings of Applied Kinesiology , the energy dynamics of eastern medicine, yet not denying the knowledge of western medical expertise. It is a form of therapy that allows the body’s energy systems to be synchronised so they can operate as nature intended. The BodyTalk System recognises that within each and every one of us there lies the innate knowing of who we are and what makes us tick. This innate wisdom carries the answer to our health care dilemma. The BodyTalk treatment protocol is very straightforward and does not require any diagnosis. The practitioner relies on the guidance of innate wisdom, through neuro-muscular biofeedback, to not only locate the weakened lines of communication in the body but also to find the exact order in which they are to be addressed. Just as the body heals a wound with a particular sequencing of chemical reactions, the body wants to address all healing in a certain order. This priority is paramount in the balancing process to initiate the body’s ability to heal itself. BodyTalk works without using drugs, chiropractic adjustments, physical manipulations or acupuncture needles. It uses a simple form of communication to ask your body exactly what it needs to heal itself quickly, effectively, and efficiently and when we listen to the body and follow it’s instructions, that's exactly what it does.

Chinese Herbal medicine
Chinese Herbal Medicine has developed over the last 3000 years into a unique and highly sophisticated system for understanding health and disease. Having a different perspective to western medicine, it can often cast light on conditions which modern medicine has difficulty treating.
Chinese herbs consist of natural dried leaves, bark, roots and flowers which possess different characteristics and actions on the body. Chinese herbal medicines come in different forms, decoctions, powders, pills, ointments and even creams.
Chinese herbs always work together to correct internal imbalances within your body and activate the body’s self-healing processes. Chinese Herbal Medicine uses exactly the same diagnostic techniques as Acupuncture. It can be used as an adjunct or instead of Acupuncture.

Cupping
Cupping involves the suction of a glass cups, performed by creating a vacuum with a flame before being placed on the body. During a Cupping treatment, the skin's pores are opened which helps to stimulate the flow of Blood, adjust the flow of Qi and remove blockages within the meridians. The warming and dispersing actions of cupping result in a profoundly increased local blood supply to muscles and skin which provides nourishment to the local area and releases tension particularly in areas of muscle rigidity. Cupping brings fresh blood to the area, so it tends to improve circulation. It also helps open up the chest and benefit the lungs and can even benefit menstrual problems and digestive problems, too. Most commonly, it’s used for aches and pains of various types as well as respiratory problems such as cough and wheezing.
Cupping has marked circulatory effects on the body and, in particular, improves the circulation of blood within the muscles and joints, removes congested blood and excessive fluid and facilitates the flow of lymph. These actions allow Cupping to remove toxins from local areas, re-supply important nutrients to the cells, draw out inflammation, relieve pain and reduce the appearance of cellulite.
Cupping mobilizes and stretches soft tissue by pulling it away from underlying structures. By relaxing contractile tissues such as muscles and tendons, this allows for increased flexibility and range of motion in previously restricted areas of the body.
Cupping influences the body's peripheral nervous system by exerting calming and sedative effects, allowing patients with stress-related conditions in particular to benefit. Through effects on the nervous system, Cupping has additional effects over the digestive function by regulating peristaltic movement and the secretion of digestive fluids

Guasha
Gua Sha is a healing technique used by practitioners of Traditional Medicine, but little known in the West. It involves palpation and cutaneous stimulation where the skin is pressured, in strokes, by a round-edged jade bar, that results in the appearance of small red petechiae called ‘sha’ that will fade in 2 to 3 days.
Raising Sha removes blood stagnation, promoting normal circulation and metabolic processes. The patient experiences immediate relief from pain, stiffness, fever, chill, cough, nausea, and so on. Gua Sha is valuable in the prevention and treatment of acute infectious illness, upper respiratory and digestive problems, and many other acute or chronic disorders.

Homotoxicology
Homotoxicology is the investigation and elimination of autotoxins
that accumulate within the body and cause damage. It is
NOT Homeopathy as such, but a related discipline, founded in
Germany in 1952 by Dr. Reckeweg as an extension of classic
Homeopathy. Dr. Reckeweg started with the principles of
classical Homoeopathy integrating these with new advances in
biochemistry and embryology. Today Homotoxicology is seen
as a bridge between Homeopathy and conventional Medicine.
Homotoxicology is a system of medicine that aims to induce
regulation (it is also known as ‘regulation therapy’).Homotoxicology generally uses formulations that contain
active ingredients such as allopathic or herbal remedies, but
homeopathically prepared, therefore not causing any side
effects or suppressing symptoms. Homotoxic treatment is
being used successfully in chronic diseases, inflammatory
conditions, allergies, food intolerances, slowing the ageing
process and in conditions such as:
- Paresis, neuralgia, toxic neuritis, vegetative dystonia,
migraine
- Eczema (neurodermitis), itching (including pruritus
vulvae), psoriasis, vitiligo, pemphigus, scleroderma
- Bronchial asthma
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Gastric and duodenal ulcer, hepatosis, cirrhosis of the
liver and injurious hepatic disorders, pancreopathy
- Kidney disease, e.g. nephrosis and chronic nephritis
- Hormone dysfunction and dysregulation of endocrine
glands, e.g. diabetes mellitus, over- and underactive
thyroid
- Myocardial impairment, angina pectoris, treatment
