  • Terms & Conditions for renting a room at Wimpole Therapeutics
    TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR RENTING AT WIMPOLE THERAPEUTICS 1. Payments for contract room rental slots are to be paid a month in advance on the 1st of each Calendar month after receiving your invoice. This should be set up as a bank transfer. Please use your name as a reference for all payments. 2. One months’ notice from Practitioners is required to terminate or change any contracted slot that you may have with Wimpole Therapeutics. - Wimpole Therapeutics reserves the right to terminate/change this Contract at any given time, without warning or notice. 3. Ad-hock sessions are to be booked NO more than one week in advance and there is a 48-hour cancellation fee. 4. Advanced bookings are not refundable. 5. A Receptionist is available to meet and greet your clients, however, they are not permitted to take bookings, payments or to carry out any other form of administrative work for Practitioners. They solely work for the business of Wimpole Therapeutics. 6. If the clinic is closed for any reason due to operational issues on a day that a practitioner had pre-paid for a slot, they will be offered a refund or an alternate slot where possible. However, refunds will not be issued for any closure that is beyond the control of Wimpole Therapeutics, such as a government enforced lockdown. 7. There are no rent reductions if you cannot attend your day due to sickness or holidays. The full charge stands whether you are in or not on those allocated contracted slots. 8. Wimpole Therapeutics is closed on every UK Bank Holiday and also during the Christmas period. Practitioners are not charged for the days the clinic is closed. 9. The treatment room must only be used during the hours that have been agreed and booked with Wimpole Therapeutics. You may only enter the room 15 minutes prior to you start time. 10. Please vacate the room as soon as your booked session has finished. Other practitioners may be using the room and therefore running over the allocated time slot is not permitted. 11. You must leave the treatment room in the same condition you found it. If any furniture has been moved, it must be returned to its original position. 12.Clinic Towels are available at £1.00 per towel. Any other supplies such as couch roll/gloves/masks/cleaning wipes need to be provided by the practitioner. 13.You will be charged for any Clinic Equipment/Furniture damaged by either you or your Client. 14. Practitioners must use Wimpole Therapeutics sharps bins for disposal of acupuncture needles. There will be a monthly charge this service. Any needles left on the floors will constitute a breach and possible cancellation of the practitioner’s contract. 15. Under no circumstances a practitioner is permitted to register their business at Wimpole Therapeutics address. 16. You must not use our telephone number or the address of our Premises as a point of contact for your business. 17. You must not have any goods or items delivered to the clinic. All deliveries will be refused. 18. The clinic has very limited storage space. But wherever possible we will endeavour to find a small space for contract practitioners to leave work related items. 19. Wimpole Therapeutics does not accept responsibility for any loss or damage of items you leave in the clinic. Any items are left solely at your own risk. 20. We do not provide any storage facilities for ad- hock practitioners. 21. Any cups or cutlery used must be washed up by the practitioner. You must not leave dirty crockery or cutlery in the kitchen. Included in your rental: Heating, Lighting, Room with desk, two chairs and a wash basin, Electric Couch, Shared use of Kitchen, Fibre Optic Broadband.

    COVID-19 Health and safety Policy Your registered governing body will need to have approved your right to return to practice in order for you to work at Wimpole Therapeutics. You will need to work within and respect the Covid-19 policy requirements as set out by Wimpole Therapeutics and you are responsible for informing your clients of the procedures they must follow. Each practitioner will be required to take full responsibility for their own clients. Please ensure that your client has completed a COVID-19 consent form before they come to their appointment. Clients and practitioners will no longer be allowed to sit or wait in the reception area as this would be a breach of safe social distancing rules and guidelines. You need to instruct your clients not to arrive at the clinic prior to their scheduled appointment time. The front door to Wimpole Therapeutics will be kept locked and entry is via a buzzer system. Clients must wait outside the clinic until you contact them by phone call or text asking them to ring the doorbell. On entering the clinic, they must go directly to your practice room. Face masks or coverings must be worn by you and your clients in all areas of the clinic except within the treatment room you are using. You must wash your hands or use hand sanitiser on arrival and you must ensure that your clients do so too. A safe distance must be kept between you and any other person within our premises at all times except within your treatment room. You will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting everything in your room before you leave and in-between your clients, within your booked slot time. You will be responsible for providing the disinfectant or sanitising wipes to clean your treatment room and for any PPE that you require. You will be responsible for safely disposing of any of your PPE in the black bin in the patio area. Please do not arrange to have any parcels, packages or other items sent to the clinic as delivery will be refused. Practitioners must fully comply with all the requirements set out in the Wimpole Therapeutics’ COVID-19 policies. Any failure to do so will result in your contract being terminated.     COVID-19 Pandemic Practitioners Consent Form For All Practitioners Renting Space at Wimpole Therapeutics I, _______________________________________,. understand the COVID-19 virus has a long incubation period during which carriers of the virus may not show symptoms and still be highly contagious. It is impossible to determine who has it, and who does not, given the current limits in virus testing. I confirm that I have not had any of the following symptoms of COVID-19 listed below within the last 21 days or knowingly been in contact with anyone with these symptoms: Fever (Temperature of above 37.9) Shortness of Breath Loss of Sense of Taste or Smell Dry Cough Runny Nose Sore Throat _______ (Initial) I understand that air travel significantly increases my risk of contracting and transmitting the COVID-19 virus, and that Public Health England recommends social distancing of at least 1 metre between people who are not members of the same household. ______ (Initial) I verify that I have not travelled outside the United Kingdom in the past 21 days to countries that have been affected by COVID-19. ______ (Initial) Signature: __________________________________________________ Date (of return to work): __________________________________________
